About the Novi Parks Foundation:

Who We Are

The Novi Parks Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Those who serve on the Board give unselfishly of their time, talent and financial resources. Making an annual financial contribution is only part of their obligation. Serving on committees and recruiting others as volunteers, board members and donors has become routine. Providing professional assistance in the areas of legal, engineering, development, construction and financial planning is often offered to the organization as in-kind contributions. Volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and expertise provide additional support.

Why Support Novi Parks Foundation?

Novi Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services, a tax-funded city organization, cannot build and maintain a world-class parks system on its own. Private support is essential. Every dollar counts. Together, we will enrich the lives of our youth, strengthen our families, build our communities and empower our city. Together, we are building parks for life.

Giving Options

The value of your generous gift will leave a lasting legacy that will benefit your own life and the lives of others for generations. Cash gifts to the Foundation for individual parks and programs can include bequests by will, charitable gift annuity and more opportunities.

The Novi Parks Foundation raises money for the purpose of supporting park enhancements, recreational opportunities and scholarship programs for local children.  We hope to raise funds to provide support and assistance to Novi Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services as they work to maintain quality parks and provide high quality cultural and recreational programs.  New event for 2015 is “Pour on the Shore”, beer and wine tasting.

Since its inception in 2004, the Foundation has provided:

  • More than $13,500 in youth recreation scholarships
  • More than $9,000 in soccer field improvements and lacrosse equipment purchases
  • $50,000 in contributions to Pavilion Shore Park development
  • $51,800 in support of public art projects
  • $30,000 for the design of playground at Power Park
  • $45,000 for Fuerst Park Gardens
  • $14,650 for Parks & Recreation Needs Assessment Survey
  • $3,000 for Fate of Empires install at Pavilion Shore Park
  • $3,400 to support the construction of the Gazebo at Meadowbrook Commons

Are you passionate about public spaces, recreational & cultural opportunities and the Novi community?  Well so are we!  The Novi Parks Foundation supports the City of Novi Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department through fundraising and advocacy.  Thanks to our many community partners and supporters, the Parks Foundation has provided matching grant funds for city park projects, provided scholarships to youth and funded various park enhancements over the years.  There are many ways to be involved and to support our efforts to make Novi an even better place to live, work and play…

  • Naming Rights and memorial tributes
  • Volunteer opportunities– Board of Directors or event staff.  We are always ready to accept your gift of time and expertise
  • Donations, legacy gifting, or scholarship funding.
  • Special event sponsorships and in kind donations

Novi is fortunate to have so many diverse recreation opportunities and public spaces available for all ages, all activity levels, interests and abilities.  It is our value and belief that park, recreation and cultural experiences connect people in meaningful ways–connections to nature.. to others… to ourselves and our community.  Leisure time is serious business and we want Novi to continue to provide its residents with exceptional leisure time opportunities!  Contact us to learn more about how you can support and be a part of the Novi Parks Foundation!

Happy Birthday Dr. Daryl Moore!🎂🍻☘️ The Happy Birthday Dr. Daryl Moore!🎂🍻☘️ The team at ASMPT is so LUCKY to have ya. Thank you for all you do for your patients, staff and community. We hope your day is as great as you are! Cheers!!!
Most who know Dr. Brian Adams know that he has a p Most who know Dr. Brian Adams know that he has a passion for cycling. Brian’s first exposure to cycling was in the early 90’s when he took up mountain biking, thanks to his college friends.

Shortly after becoming a PT, Brian raced at an elite level in Europe, living in Belgium for 2 seasons. While there, he raced with the US National Team and the pro-development squad ABC-Cycling Center. Since then he has competed in various disciplines: road, criterium (crit), mountain, track, time trial (TT) cyclocross races and more! Along with his decorated cycling background, Brian also worked in bike shops during college and developed a skill set in building, repairing and fitting bikes. He is a Certified Clinical Bike Fitter and is recognized through the International Bike Fitting Institute (IBFI) as a Level 3 Fitter, a credential which is one of the highest in the industry. With over 30 years of bike racing and fitting experience, Brian is one of the few Doctors of Physical Therapy in the country that combines the experience of high level racing, coaching and bike fitting.

Dr. Adams’ continued efforts in keeping our patients healthy and happy on the bike is truly a gift to our community. Our team at Adams Sports Medicine has had the amazing opportunity of working alongside you, learning the ins and outs of bike fitting and in addition to developing a passion of their own. Whether it is in the clinic during a bike fit, speaking to a local cycling team on injury prevention, or providing sponsorship and medical support at various cycling events, Adams Sports Medicine would not be where it is today without your experience, expertise and passion.

Brian was recently listed among a group of world class bike fitters according to Bicycle Fit Guru. This is an incredible accomplishment. We are so proud of you, Brian!

Spring is around the corner and countless races and events are coming up. If you’re looking to have an off-bike assessment and properly fitted, we are here for you! If you’re having pain on the bike or struggling with your bike fit, call the clinic today! We’d be happy to set up a time with Brian to help you achieve your goals and ride pain free!

Last week several of our staff had the opportunity Last week several of our staff had the opportunity to attend the nation's largest Physical Therapy Conference put on by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Taking place in San Diego, the Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) brings the Physical Therapy profession together to network, collaborate and advance their education and professional skills. Dr. Brian Adams, Dr. Brittani Bennett, Madeline Sciarini and Heather Emke were able to learn about various topics including: endurance medicine with return to running/sport, treatment of tendon pathologies, working with the female athlete and so much more. Lots of knowledge and great takeaways to bring back to the clinic!

Our team also connected with some familiar faces as well as took a little time to explore the beautiful city of San Diego! 😎
