Welcome to our next round of PT Doctoral Students! Welcome to our next round of PT Doctoral Students! 📚⭐️

Rachel Hardwick is a 3rd year PT Doctoral student at UofM Flint and plans to graduate August of 2023. Rachel is very excited to be at Adams, having a passion for sports herself. Playing hockey since she was 3 years old all the way through college, she has an interest in working with athletes some day. When she is not working out or playing hockey she also loves to play softball, basketball, and pickleball with her mom. Rachel will be working alongside Dr. Daryl Moore for her first clinical rotation. 🏒🏀🥎

Jeff Pepera is a 3rd year PT Doctoral student from UofM Flint. He received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Wayne State University. Jeff played soccer for nearly 20 years, but now primarily focuses on weight training and powerlifting. In addition he loves golfing and softball during the summer. Jeff has a passion for working with athletes and is excited to have his first clinical be with ASMPT. He will be working alongside Dr. Brittani Bennett in Novi. ⚽️🏋🏼‍♂️🥎

We are excited to announce our team is growing! Pl We are excited to announce our team is growing! Please give a warm welcome to our new PT Aides, Ian Coward, Dylan Offman, and Amanda Nguyen! 👏👏👏

Ian Coward is currently in 12th grade at Novi High School and plays for both the high school soccer and esports teams. He was on the soccer team for all 4 years, enjoying the first 2 years on JV as a captain, and continuing to play the Varsity team for his junior and senior year. Ian wants to pursue a career in physical therapy and is a Physical Therapist Aide at ASMPT. He also stays active by running around the neighborhood and practicing soccer with his club team, Farmington Fury. You can find Ian in our Novi Clinic! ⚽️

Dylan Offman is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science from the School of Kinesiology. Dylan majored in movement science in his time at the University of Michigan and is currently applying to graduate school in pursuit of his DPT. Dylan also works at King Elementary in Ann Arbor as a head teacher for an after-school program, where he has worked for the past five years. Outside of working Dylan enjoys quality time with friends and family, painting, and curating his fantasy football lineups. You can find Dylan in our Novi Clinic! 🏈

Amanda is currently a junior at Wayne State University studying Exercise and Sports Science. After graduation, she will be applying to physical therapy school. Growing up, Amanda competed in club and high school gymnastics as well as diving. She was first introduced to sports medicine and physical therapy when she shadowed her high school athletic trainer and went through years of PT herself. Outside of school, she stays active by playing volleyball with friends and has recently picked up jiu-jitsu. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her dogs, family/ friends, do puzzles and bake. You can find Amanda in our Royal Oak Clinic! 🤸‍♀️

Last week our Lunch and Learn featured Dr. Stacey Last week our Lunch and Learn featured Dr. Stacey Schley, MD who discussed topics including Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S) and Bone Stress Injuries (BSI). 

Dr. Schley is a family/sports medicine physician. She is currently completing a fellowship with the Female Athlete Program through Boston’s Children Hospital. Prior to pursuing medicine she danced professionally and was a certified personal trainer throughout the Boston area. 💃🏽💪🏻

Dr. Hannah DePaul recently presented on optimizing Dr. Hannah DePaul recently presented on optimizing health, preventing injuries, and maximizing performance to the high school girls on the Plymouth Canton Cruisers swim team.
